I read that may be because the game folder has polish characters. Try reinstalling in a folder that doesn't have polish chars. I'm reinstalling now, don't know if it will work.

IT WORKED

Just rename teh the game forlder to Withcer 2 and changed the registry to reflect that and the patch installed correctly...

INSTRUCTIONS (for those not able to edit registries)

1. Install game but CHANGE the instalation path to ENGLISH like Witcher 2
2. Close the window that asks for the KEY after the instalation (right upper corner press X)
3. Right click on Launcher and run as administrator
4. Put some random numbers
5. let it update (the update will work now)
6. Copy the Paul.dll into the bin folder
7. PLAY

sensitive ears a scris:: If you already installed it in the default "Wied%u017Amin 2" name, just change the name of the folder, start up regedit.exe and find all the Wied%u017Amin 2 entries that seem relevant (launcher, witcher 2 .exe's and other stuff) and replace with what the new path is.

MF Links are 200MB per link. MU/RS/FS/FSC links are interchangeable and are 1GB each.
