Minecraft Latest patch - 1.5_01




Ive been meaning to give back to the community for some time now, and so this is my first (of many) games ill be sharing c:

It's Minecraft! Beta 1.5 with an auto updater so you'll never have to worry about your client going out of date (You'll need to manually update servers however)

Installing is as easy as double clicking the .exe and allowing the appropriate files to generate (remember to tick the force update box) Skin edit is also included for those who want to try creating a custom skin as well as the latest
program for installing HD texture packs.

Setting up a server goes as follows:

1) Run the minecraft_server.exe and allow the necessary files to generate, wait untill its done.


2) Close the server by typing "stop" in the console, open up the server properties file that was generated in the same directory as the .exe, and change the settings as desired.

Both changing the "online" mode to false and adding the appropriate IP are necessary (obviously) But you can change the other settings to however you want. The "World seed" Generates a world based on whatever you type in there, used for sharing worlds offline primarily (A popular example would be the 404 challange)

3) Save the properties file and restart the server, now you and your friends can connect to it from the client
